1st quarter down with 3 more to go. Soaring Eagle families, we have started off strong, so lets keep the momentum going. Parents, lets get our students to the Eagles' Nest each and every day and on time. Remember to send your parent or doctor notes in to avoid truancy. Continue to use the Rooms app for academic updates, and communication with teachers. Students are to be in FULL uniform EVERYDAY to avoid discipline infractions. WE are the SOARING EAGLES, and we will continue to SOAR together!!!!
Soaring Eagle Families, join us next Monday, October 20th for Parenting Day. We are having our annual Parenting Day "Picnic with Parents" during designated times. Please review the flyer for your child's lunch time and details. We will also be giving out 1st Qtr. Report Cards, Spring '25 ACAP scores, and the Book Fair is at the Eagles' Nest, as well. Happy Instructional Coach Appreciation Day!!!!! To our amazing team of Instructional Coaches, we appreciation you all more than a days post. Mrs. Broadnax (ARI Coach) and Ms. Muse (OMI Coach), you all lead the pack in making sure that the Eagles' Nest is full of content knowledge and up-to-date with the most effective and newest strategies and concepts. Coach Holder, Mrs. Florence and Mrs. Kiel, you all complete the team by assisting in your instructional labs and planning with the faculty and staff to ensure our eagles are continuing to soar! Thank you all each and every day for the phenomenal job being done.
Hip Hip Hooray!!! Ms. A. Dixon (K-2nd), Ms. B. Rudolph (3rd-5th), Ms. T. Turner (School Counselor), and Ms. S. Streeter (Paraprofessional) have been caught in the month of September constructing our future leaders! These teachers are always effective in their Soaring Eagle Time, set high expectations for every student, and exhibits the true characteristics of a "Soaring Eagle". Keep up the awesome work!!
Morningside is going "GOLD" for Childhood Cancer. Students pay $2 and get to dress out in GOLD or YELLOW (shirts, pants, shoes, socks, etc.) to help the fight with childhood cancer. Proceeds will go towards a children's cancer society. Help us fight childhood cancer together!
Soaring Eagle Families, we are celebrating attendance for the month of September with our "Attendance Spirit Week". Each day has a themed item to wear with his or her uniform. We want our students to celebrate coming to school and getting smarter each and every day! Lets make every day count.
Welcome to the Eagles' Nest! We can't wait to see all of you next Tuesday, Sept. 16th, 4:30-6pm. We will have spirit shirt order forms available for you to purchase those for the year, PTO sign up, Secret Scientist clear backpacks for purchase and more. Come out and speak with teachers and support staff so that we are all lending a hand in "Constructing Our Future Leaders" for the 2025-2026 school year.
